Ajax, the interactive way.

This project was commissioned by Amsterdam City Archives. Their goal was to use part of the archives on the 'street' in an interactive way. The target I have chosen were students in 7th and 8th grade. To attract this audience the product had to look good visually and the questions and language had to be adapted to their world.

I have chosen for the category sport, and I have come to an Ajax quiz. The quiz can be played on an interactive window and the controls are touchscreen. This window should be placed in the Ajax museum where children can play the quiz. For each correct answer they deserve an 'Amsterdammertje'. Once they have completed the quiz they can share their score on a social network and invite friends to play the quiz too. Fysio+ Application

The brief for this project was to solve a problem within the club Kras/Volendam. The problem we found was that the communication between the physiotherapists was not optimal. Handball players of the club did not know exactly where they stand and there was much confusion. For this problem we have created an application where physiotherapists can communicate with each other so that every physiotherapists is always aware of a persons injury. A major step we had to take was to make the application attractive for the players. What was so interesting to use this application?

For that, we have divided the application into three accounts, one for the player, one for the physiotherapist and one for the trainer. Players can view their latest developments and choose their training exercises, so they can register their work outs and still be part of the group during their injury. Physiotherapists get an overview of the status of all players and are always aware of the players condition. Interactive TV Application

This web application for interactive television is designed for a tablet. The tablet acts as if it is a remote control. The user can decide when to watch the programs. The user can create playlists and can indicate whether he or she wants to receive personalized recommendations. The main goal of this project was to make an application that fits the expectations of the target audience.

The project started with a lot of sketching. There had to be a starting point to build on further. Once I had a concept I started writing usecases. The end result is a full documentation containing usecases, wireframes, sitemaps and the actual visuals. Clickhere to download the Dutch end documentation.

Knabbeltje: The Game

This game was made for kids on primary school. Our goal was to let kids have fun and increase vocabulary at the same time. After a bit of research and brainstorming we decided to do something with animals, since that was one of the favourite subjects of the kids. Again the challenge was to know the target group and empathize.

We have chosen a traditional effective medium, a book, to lift to its 2.0 version: an interactive book where children have to complete a story about animals. Help will be offered through color and sound. The book exists of three levels which increase difficulty during the game. Surf safe! Advertising Campaign

Postbus51 wants young people between 13 and 17 years to be more aware of the dangers of cybercrime. They don't want any panic and have therefore asked for an advertising campaign that focuses on measures they can take to reduce the chance of cybercrime.

We have built a campaign around the slogan 'Surf safe!' and used populair teen idols to let the children compare themselves with. We wanted to create the 'I want to be like them' feeling and try to protect the children this way against cybercrime. We used different ways to reach the target group, for example the Advergame, Tv commercial and website as shown above. Click here to download the Dutch creative concept.
